Parlor - Records indicate this area was originally the dining and morning room under Governor Olden’s ownership. The Pyne family divided it into a billiard and morning room; the Spanels opened it up again as a drawing room.

Directions

From the North

Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit #9 (New Brunswick.) After toll, bear right onto Route #18 North, go .5 miles, then take Route #1 South. Follow 18 miles to Princeton. Take Washington Road West Exit towards Princeton. At light at end of Washington Road (you will be facing the Garden Theater), turn left onto Nassau Street. At the end of the Princeton commercial district, bear left onto Route 206 South (Stockton Street). Proceed through two traffic lights (Library Place and Elm Road) and Drumthwacket is ¼ mile ahead on your left — a large white house surrounded by a black iron fence. (From Washington Road to Drumthwacket should take approx. 5 mins.)

From the South

Take the NJ Turnpike North to Exit #7A. After the toll, take I-195 Westbound. Follow to Exit 60B, Princeton, I-295 North. Follow I-295 North (I-295 North turns into I-95 South) to Route #206 North, Exit 7B. Exit here and proceed North on Route #206 through 7 stoplights. Drumthwacket will be on your right — a large white house surrounded by a black iron fence. (From I-95 to Drumthwacket is about 15 minutes.)

From the Northwest

Take I-287 to Route #206 South into Princeton. At the intersection of Route #206 and Nassau Street, continue right onto Route #206 South. Follow through two traffic lights. After the 2nd light, Elm Road, Drumthwacket is ¼ mile ahead on your left — a large white house surrounded by a black iron fence.

From the Southwest (Philadelphia)

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Route #1 North Exit. Follow Route #1 North to I-95 North to New Jersey. From I-95 take Exit 7B, Route #206 North. Proceed North on Route #206 through 7 stoplights. Drumthwacket will be on your right — a large white house surrounded by a black iron fence (From I-95 to Drumthwacket is approximately 15 minutes.)
